Red White Black Signs To Tell Of 35 Mile Speed
Baltimore reports 250 red, white and black signs reading victory speed 35 miles per hour will be installed on Maryland roads. Curtailment of Mail Box Collections in Frederick City

C Harry Derr longtime State Roads Commission engineer in Frederick district died suddenly at his Catonsville home from a heart attack about 7:30 AM. He was about 35, born in Middletown valley, educated at Washington and Lee, and served as assistant district engineer for District 3 covering Anne Arundel, Montgomery, Howard and Carroll counties. 55 Enemy Aliens Roundup By FBI In Baltimore
FBI special agent E A Soucy announced the roundup of 53 enemy aliens for violations of presidential proclamations and registration acts and for possessing contraband.
