A large crowd attended the second Tom Thumb Wedding at Adamstown with a Pageant of Brides following. The ceremony featured Joyce Yingling and Arthur Pouche among many participants, with guests that included Franklin D. Roosevelt and Charles A. Lindbergh. The pageant showcased gowns with owners listed from 1813 to 1935, read by Genevieve Thomas as Miss Rue Thomas sang pieces from My Maryland and The Rosary.
