Littrell named to national science and technology panel
Maryland delegate Littrell Jr. is appointed to the Science Technology and Resource Planning Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures. The panel, part of NCSL’s Assembly on the Legislation, meets three times yearly to discuss issues like waste management, global warming, computer viruses, groundwater storage tanks, biotechnology, and Star Wars. Littrell said the appointment offers a chance to exchange ideas with peers across states and share approaches to state challenges through NCSL and AOL. In Maryland, he serves on multiple committees including Economic Matters and the Drunk and Drugged Driving Task Force.
