Vacant Republican ticket for Delegates filled in Frederick
The Republican ticket for the Delegates in the November election was completed Tuesday with new member Thomas Zentz of Thurmont replacing a fled candidate. The committee named Zentz, a local insurance broker, along with incumbents Ro Remsburg, Mass Naine Moody Everhart, and Charles A. Sim of Frederick, Joseph R Harp of Myersville. No nominee for County Surveyor was chosen, the incumbent Frank W. Rothenhoefer remaining. New committee officers were Cutshall as chairman, Clarence M. Phileeger as secretary, and Rev. John S Bowlus as treasurer, with the full panel including Dr Morris A. Birely, Staley M. Flock, and John C. Derr. The group endorsed David Tilgaman for chairman of the Republican State Central Committee of Maryland, meeting at Winchester Hall.
