Three Drowned Men Found at Lewes Life Stations
Three drowned men were found at life stations near Lewes Delaware on September 21 by surfmen. One body was recovered near Rebobeth station identified as Henry Joyce of Cape Breton Nova Scotia by his son Harry, crewman on the fishing steamer Breakwater. Joyce was a crew member of the wrecked schooner Hattie A. Marsh, with the others believed to be identical. Bodies are badly mutilated and denuded and placed in the care of Undertaker Atkinson for burial in the Methodist Episcopal cemetery here.
