Conservation Plan Aims at Unified Maryland Efforts
A Maryland Outdoor Life Federation proposal would overhaul conservation by creating a six-member, six-year paid Conservation Commission, a pollution control board, and a shared education division. The plan seeks cross-agency cooperation and a streamlined approach to Chesapeake Bay and tidewater fisheries, plus a marketing program for fishery products.
