Mortality Tract in Frederick County Reveals Ramsburg Era
A detailed local history traces the Mortality tract southeast of Lay parcel in Tasker s Chance through Ramsburg landholdings. It covers Stephen Ramsburg born 1711, son Jacob, and the family’s mills, graves, and roads, noting the old Franklin mill and nearby fords, with many parcels later passing to Cronise, Dixon, and other owners.
