Frederick police say three men were arrested Thursday night in a drug probe. Gerald Wayne Koogle Jr 20 and Jason Allen Diggs 18 were nabbed near Pennsylvania and Virginia avenues around 8 05 p.m. Deandre Eugene Pryor 20 stopped at 10 10 p.m. All faced crack cocaine possession charges with Diggs and Pryor also charged with possession with intent to distribute. Bail hearings awaited before a Frederick County District Court commissioner.
Frederick County based nonprofit Christmas in April Frederick County invites homeowners in need to seek free repair services. Applications are due October 1 for repairs to be completed the following April, with selections based on financial need and referrals from local churches civic groups and neighbors. The program runs repairs on the last Saturday in April each year to help low income elderly and disabled residents live safely and with dignity through volunteer work. For forms call 301 620 8620.
