Joseph C Fullerton was arrested by Officer Waters on cruelty to animals after hiring a country team from liveryman Robert Gaimar. The horse allegedly showed signs of abuse after a trip. Fullerton appeared before Justice Turner, bail default sent to Fort Grove, later released with Col. Louis McMurray as surety. He is to depart tomorrow morning.
