Poto chet River Basin Commission to Meet in Oakland
The Poto chet River Basin Commission will meet in Oakland for two days next week with upstream Cumberland priority. Officers will be elected, an inspection of the Savage River dam project is planned, and the ninth annual meeting opens with a dinner and closed session. An open session Friday will cover upper Potomac pollution, with officials from Cumberland city, Allegany sewer authority, Lavale sewer district and local industries in attendance. A Public Health Service official will discuss the role of sanitary engineers in civil defense at the noon luncheon.
