Dairy exhibitors win rosettes at Montgomery County Fair
At the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, multiple dairy exhibitors claim top honors in open and 4-H shows. Thurmont’s Carl Thayer Jr. led junior, senior and grand champions in Guernsey. Chestertown’s Keith Dixon family earned reserve junior, reserve senior and reserve grand in the same breed. Wagner family from Quarryville, Pa. took senior and grand in Brown Swiss. Additional champions include Ayrshire and other 4-H breed show winners with rosettes awarded to Fields, Richard, and others among the county fair participants.
