Planners reject zoning change for 10 acre tract in Frederick
Frederick Planning Commission voted 3 2 to deny Frederick Business Properties request to rezone 10 acres on Thomas Johnson Drive from industrial to commercial. City planner Adkins said 1986 zoning aimed to keep the district park like and reduce industrial impact. Residents urged a larger green buffer, while the commission also approved 18 new townhouse apartments at Stewart Manor at 1300 Motter Ave.
