Girl 5 dies as driver hits pedestrian
A five year old Frederick girl, Patricia Ann Clem, was killed Saturday afternoon after walking from the south shoulder of Butterfly Lane into the path of an eastbound car driven by 18 year old Donald L. Delauter of Jefferson. The incident occurred near the girl’s home and authorities say there was no evidence of excessive speed. The fatality was reported at the scene.
