Old Line Democrat Pleads Guilty in Local Police Court
A plea by Ezekial T. Lyons to drunkenness earned a suspended sentence if he leaves town immediately after a brief fine. Lyons, a Baltimore Third Ward voter, sought clemency to register one more vote for Tydings and Lane. Other transients faced jail or fines for intoxication, loitering, or indecent exposure, while Lloyd Roberts was acquitted of larceny after claiming he had merely borrowed and returned the clothes.
