O Kanes rise with merged names in Nashville country
Nashville duo O Hara and Kieran Kane formed a tight harmony act after merging their Irish names. Their single Cant Stop My Heart From Lovin You hit No 1 in May, Oh Darlin topped the Top 10, and their debut album The OKanes has stayed in the country top 10. Their sound blends country blues bluegrass and folk with O Hara on guitar and Kane on mandolin. They crafted their eclectic style in Kane s attic and credit early stage nerves with fueling their drive.

Marin stars settle in redwood canyons and valleys
Marin County hosts Huey Lewis and Maria Muldaur among many artists drawn by beauty and a live, informal culture. George Lucas, Karla Pandit, and Dan Hicks are cited as residents or frequent presences, with Patterson praising the county as heaven and home for fame without fanfare.
