Quartz watches industry course trains Frederick jeweler
Clifford Hevner of Remsberg's Jewelry in downtown Frederick completed a Bulova Watch Company quartz timekeeping course aimed at watch technicians handling quartz wristwatches. He notes the need for trained professionals to teach correct setting and battery changes for solid state and analog quartz watches. Bulova Accutron movements, made in the United States, are noted as the only watch movements on the Moon.
