Closed Oyster Bars May Open Again
ANNAPOLIS AP A state health department official said there is a good chance parts of four oyster bars closed in August could reopen due to reduced pollution concerns. The official noted possible closures in other reef areas with September openings. Breton Bay may see a smaller restriction. The board backed a move to seek criminal penalties for dumping untreated sewage into Maryland waters. A motel fire on Route 240 Shady Grove Road caused no damage.
