Dispute Over Farm Title In Upper County Area
In Circuit Court a dispute over ownership of a Detour area farm arose. The farm traced to Frederick Birely and to his daughter Margaret Miller via a 1874 deed. a later deed to Mr and Mrs Miller and a subsequent will created competing claims. The Miller children from the first marriage sue executor Christian H Eckstein, arguing the first deed grants their mother the farm.
