Haar's Drive-In Keeps Big Sky Theaters Alive In Dillsburg
In Dillsburg Pennsylvania Haar's Drive-In remains a family operation offering 500 car capacity from dusk on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Elwood Haar recalls outside speaker projectors from 1983 and the theater’s nostalgia draw as carloads from Frederick and even Washington fill the lot. The drive-in features tethered speakers a 90 by 110 foot screen and a popular snack bar with fresh potatoes and noted french fries.
