Local man shot by police in Frederick Park chase
Frederick County man Larry Wayne Staub Jr. 23 of Thurmont was shot and killed by Officer Vaughn Harper after Staub fled a traffic stop and fired twice on officers near West All Saints Street and Mullenix Park. Staub, who used a .32 revolver, was hit by at least one Glock round and died at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
