Camp Airy marks 40 years of Boy Scout heritage
The 40 year Camp Airy tradition began with Troop 799 and Troop 278 in 1959, after Dr. Louis Schoolman helped secure the site at Strauss Foundation Camp Airy. Since then, the program expanded nationally with hundreds of volunteers and decades of leadership, including long serving staff Al Miller and Dr. Bill Roessler.
