Lula Warfield, about 40, a white woman, was arrested by Deputy Sheriffs for carrying concealed weapons and setting fire to a Buick belonging to Frank Sewell, a colored man. She was jailed to await a hearing before Justice J. Grahame Johnson after threatening to kill Sewell. Sewell alerted authorities. officers found a revolver in her skirt pocket. She admitted intent to kill Sewell and had prior disorderly conduct and prabbing records.
