Death of Thurmont Boy Keeney at Age Ten
Norris David Keeney son of Walter D and Jessie Brice Keeney died at his home near Thurmont on Wednesday at one o'clock. He was ten years old and had a heart ailment keeping him bedridden about eight months. He is survived by his parents brothers Calvin Franklin Kenneth Grace Y Geraldine and Betty Ann and his maternal grandmother Mrs Minnie Brice. The body is at the Thurmont funeral home. Funeral at 2 pm Saturday at Thurmont United Brethren church with Rev Ivan G Naugle officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge cemetery. M L Creager and Son, funeral directors.

Nathan E. Burdette of Washington was laid to rest Tuesday at 2 PM from the Damascus funeral home. Rev. Jacob H. Snyder and Rev. Ralph M. Sharpe led the service at Damascus Methodist and Calvary churches. Pallbearers were Gordon Casswell Edward H. Paul Arnold Brandenburg Edward Cox Roy Long and Robert Bruce. Among The Sick Mr. Irving S. Albaugh of Liberty stricken with paralysis on Wednesday was reported improved today conscious and resting comfortably. Leroy M. Knill of 208 Washington Street returned home after treatment at Frederick City Hospital for arm injuries. Earl and Donald Leatherman of Walkersville had tonsils removed at Frederick City Hospital and are improving at home. John Burns near Creagerstown moved to Frederick City Hospital after a fall from a silo. James Grushon of Mountaindale was taken to Frederick City Hospital for observation and treatment. Mrs. Cora E. King of Clarksburg entered Frederick City Hospital for treatment and is getting along nicely.
