Frederick Housing program costs exceed $1M
The Frederick Department of Community Development reported fiscal 1999 expenditures exceeding $1 million, with $431,000 in HUD grants and $421,000 carried over from the prior year plus $183,988 in program income. The funds supported homeless and special needs programs, neighborhood improvements, and needed facilities. The department will present the HUD performance report to the mayor and aldermen at a workshop in City Hall.
