County vows to relocate road next year on Flint Hill Road
County officials plan to move the road through Flint Hill property next year, but owner Jamile Azat opposes the design citing loss of farmland plans. Alternatives were deemed unworkable, risking land condemnation and delaying the project funded at 595000 by county and 255000 by the state. Neighbors fear high waters and flood risks, with residents discussing emergency access by boat or helicopter.
