Milk Shipments Will Continue in D C Despite Ban Revisions
Washington authorities extended the stay on uninspected milk shipments for at least two more months to expand the pool of independent Maryland and Virginia dairy farms able to meet revised standards. Only 19 of 235 inspected farms obtained permits, and the ban reversal would curb 18,000 gallons daily. The Dent changes ease sterilization and barn design rules while boosting dairy herd improvement education at Timonium Fair.
