Hughes Uses Incumbency To Boost Senate Bid
Gov. Harry Hughes leverages eight years in office and his statehouse media presence to push his campaign for the U.S. Senate. He films 90 second TV spots, touted as offsetting Rep. Barbara Mikulski’s lead, with four Baltimore stations targeted. He plans four fund raisers this week as private polls show gradual gains and a 38 percent favorability in a GOP poll.
