Dual Compensation Act clarifies rules for civilian work
Fort Detrick releases Q and A on the Dual Compensation Act effective August 19. It details limits on combining civilian salaries with military retired pay, exemptions for disabled retirees, conditions for retired military appointments, reduction in force rules, and the basic 40 hour work week cap for holding more than one civilian position. It also lists repealed laws and notes education and awards within the staff.
