Truck Driver Hurt In Brunswick Crash

Second Barn Fire Suspect Arrested In Maryland
State Police arrested Ernest Lee Adcock, 18, of Hagerstown on malicious burning charges over a $10,000 barn fire on a farm on Adamstown Road. The farm belongs to GL Thomas Jr and Roger P Doody, with Adcock as a boarding farm helper. Earlier, Roger Wayne Bell, 21, of Frederick was charged in connection with a separate $25,000 barn fire on Route 75 at Old Annapolis Road. Both cases hinge on arson definitions, as fires in barns containing animals or hay are not classified as arson without a dwelling involved. Bond for Adcock was set at $2,500. he remains jailed.
