Longtime Frederick County bus and utility workers find joy in daily service
In Midletown and surrounding towns three county workers share decades of service and pride. Emory Adab, Roger Rollins, and Jim Bowie describe how daily contact with students and staff shapes their days. Rollins, a custodian at North Frederic Elementary, spreads energy and care, while Bowie, delivering milk to 28 schools, values outdoor work and regular routes. Adab plans to continue driving through next year, counting a 30 year career with the county.
