A man dressed as a clown robbed the Acme Continental Credit Union in Rockville as employees arrived around 7 am. He displayed a handgun, fled on foot with undisclosed cash, and investigators later found a clown shoe, red nose, and red cap near Calhoun Place while searching for the suspect.
The Maryland Court of Special Appeals affirmed Byron A. Bowie Jr.’s 1991 murder conviction and life sentence, finding his waiver of right to trial was knowing and intelligent.
