George Theodorovich, a Ukrainian immigrant and former member of the Nazi sponsored police in Lvov, was ordered deported by U.S. immigration judge John F. Gossart Jr. for aiding in Jewish persecution in 1942 and concealing that role since entering the United States in 1948. The 65 year old, now in Philadelphia, requested admittance to Argentina and faces possible transfer to the Soviet Union if Argentina refuses his visa. The judge found his testimony not credible and noted testimony from survivors and scholars contradicted his account. He can appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals.
