Broad Run parents face attendance warrants in school strike
Three Broad Run patrons, Huffer Sowers and Beachley, were served warrants in Frederick County charging violation of compulsory school attendance. They planned to contest the charges Monday in Pease Court. The defendants, fathers of many strike pupils, argue the dispute stems from school consolidation and bus access near their homes.
