After a wreck near Whippoorwill Hollow two Frederick men, John Powell 21 and William Fout 28, were rescued from a toppled truck. Powell suffered a cut hand and Fout an injured arm. both were treated at Frederick City Hospital and released within hours. The crash occurred when steering failure and a bent joint sent the vehicle veering across a fence and rolling, trapping them briefly as rescue crews freed them.
