Judge rejects public housing eviction in Frederick case

Bail unchanged in shooting case in Frederick City
A 24 year old suspect Ben Montbruce Tyrell of Carter Apartments remained at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center on 125600 bail after a bail review hearing. He faces attempted second degree murder assault with intent to murder reckless endangerment carrying a handgun and discharging a firearm within city limits. The intended victim on West South Street was not struck. Another suspect, Mack William Shumate, 32 of Barnes Road, is charged with assault with intent to murder attempted maiming resisting arrest and two counts each of assault and battery after a domestic dispute. He remained detained.
