Jury Awards W. J. Hahn $5,500 in condemnation case
A Frederick County jury awarded Walter J. Hahn of Ceresville $5,500 after a condemnation hearing against the State Roads Commission for land taken for Maryland 184 and 26 improvements. Expert witnesses valued the land higher, detailing frontage losses and farm value reductions. A separate note reports John Chavis fined $3500 for operating a numbers business at Glenn Dale Hospital.
