A four year old boy, Robert M. Gaver, started a 1938 Buick by flipping the ignition and reversed through West Patrick Street toward the Square. The car struck a parking meter stand, bent it, and halted near Schroeder's store. Minor damage to the car and meter. no charges filed. Police say the event was narrowly avoided from causing a larger wreck.
