Frederick to start eight mile bike trailway project

Construction of an eight mile bike trail loop in Frederick begins next month with phase one linking Waterford and Taskers Chance trails and extending about 4050 feet toward Key Park Way. The city plans a fall start, $19,885 local cost, $95,935 from capital budget, and $100,000 from federal funds. Chester Engineers designed the route. A walking tour of the site is scheduled Saturday at 9 am from Watertown Park to inform residents.
