Reform Party splits over endorsements in 6th District race
Maryland Reform Party will not endorse either Roscoe Bartlett or Stephen Crawford in the 6th District contest. Dr Patricia Cummings said the party never received Bartlett’s questionnaire and that the Howard County committee endorsed only Bartlett, while the state group remained noncommittal. She noted the party operates as a grassroots, county-autonomous movement and emphasized they did not endorse Bartlett statewide.

DNR blamed for slow chase in llama killing case
In Glen Arm Maryland a hunter Bomhoff confessed to shooting L L Bean a 500 pound llama on Katherine Tyler Gabriel’s 73 acre farm. DNR chief Rhoads took responsibility noting delayed pursuit due to reassigned investigator and busy caseload. The carcass was taken to a Parkville butcher who misrepresented it as deer.
