Officials from the School Board and Health Department met privately to review sewage disposal tests at the proposed junior-senior high school site in Central. The executive session aimed to determine if test results met requirements to proceed with the project and continued operation of the sewage system.

A middle aged colored man allegedly entered the Ramsburg Fertilizer Company on Saint and Carroll streets this morning, found an open safe, took $200, and left. STOCKHOLM AP reports two American physicists Emilio Segrè and Owen Chamberlain won the 1959 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the antiproton using the Berkeley cyclotron. Both laureates are affiliated with University of California, Berkeley, sharing a $42 606 award.

Darrell Graham, 27, an ex convict, led detectives to the burial site of his wife Harriet Graham’s 18 month old daughter in the Hollywood hills after she accused him of murder. He denied harming the child and was booked on suspicion of murder as police stated the girl died of a broken neck. The case followed a marriage of one week.
Crisfield officers ordered a formal probe into the death of Junior Jones 35 who died after his car hit a parked auto on Richardson Avenue at 3 30 am He died two hours later at McCreary Memorial Hospital Police Chief John Hoard said Jones was alone in the vehicle The crash marked Crisfield s first fatal accident in 25 years Other weekend deaths included Stewart J Whitney 30 of Bow Street Prince Georges County and Charmane Jackson 11 of Princess Anne in separate collisions including an intersection crash near U S 13 and Maryland 383
