Mormon Harassment Claims Stir Utah By Church Police
In Provo Utah gays accuse the Mormon Church of stamping them out via a BYU police force with far reaching powers. Church leaders Dallin Oaks and BYU Security Chief Robert Kelshaw deny targeting homosexuals while critics urge legal challenge to the statewide authority. A former Mormon minister and a BYU officer are cited in reports of license plate tracking near gay venues and a disputed entrapment arrest involving a BYU officer.
