Monrovia man dies in Md 75 crash after high speed run
Scott Lee Winklepleck 17 of Lynn Crest Court Monrovia died in a single vehicle crash on Md 75 south of I 70. Passenger Eric Jason Charles 23 of East Baldwin Road Monrovia was listed in critical condition at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The car reportedly traveled at high speed crossed the center line and hit a concrete bridge abutment. Both men were unbelted. Rescue teams from multiple counties aided the scene. The crash is the 22nd fatal in Frederick County this year with 24 total statewide.
