Puritan Life appoints Tessitori regional manager in Western Maryland

Donald C Tessitori is named Regional Manager Western Maryland by Puritan Life Insurance. Named by Peter L Broadhurst, the appointment marks the second regional manager in Maryland under the companys South Atlantic expansion. A Leona New Jersey graduate, Tessitori served in the US Navy in the Asiatic Pacific. He has six years in life insurance sales and management in DC and now lives with his wife Rose Tavino on Caldwell Street in Rockville.

Social Security Reports Due For Domestics

Social Security tax reports are due for household workers paid $50 or more in July August and September. Employers must file Form 942 by October 31 and pay both employee and employer Social Security portions. King urged timely filings as credits affect retirement and disability benefits and Medicare eligibility. Beginning 1968 coverage is required for hospital and medical insurance at 65.
