Former reporter paints view from outside Camp David
Former AP journalist Dale Nelson shared memories of Camp David during a Thurmont book signing for The President is at Camp David. He recounted Roosevelt’s land purchases, Churchill’s wartime visits, Eisenhower’s rename, Nixon’s pool and the infamous Holiday Inn jibe by Jackie Kennedy, with locals listening intently.
