Networks promise nonstop coverage for election night
New York AP reports major networks including ABC CBS NBC and CNN plan extensive continuous coverage with state by state results and regional trend reports. Fox will counterprogram with a two hour comedy block while PBS airs The Finish Line live after NewsHour. This election will be the first without networks racing to call a winner due to joint exit poll venture VRS.
