Ruling Sought on Alley Parking in Frederic
Justice Gherman P. Bowers heard two Frederic residents appeal a charge of overnight parking in an alley off Elm Street toward College extension. The magistrate referred the issue to mayor and aldermen, who met with no decision. Residents Ralph G. Kline and W. T. Mathers argued no cottages blocked the alley. Officer Allen McHenry cited unreasonable parking under the city ordinance. Charges were dismissed pending investigation into alley parking legality, with other forfeitures for parking violations also listed.
