Canopy Approval Restores High's Gas Pump Covering
The Frederick City Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday granted approval for a 24 by 24 foot canopy over gas pumps at High's Dairy Store, 430 E Patrick St. The canopy will shield customers and lights but must have downward lighting and no signs. The canopy was in original plans in 1985 but was dropped. a city zoning code change later restricted fronting structures.
