Dismissals Hit Magistrate Court Assault Cases

Two assault cases were dismissed last night as suspects failed to appear for trial in Siacis Pete's Court. Cockrell Jr. of Taney Apartments faced related charges. a second case involving fallery was noted. Roberts of South Bentz Street appeared briefly as the proceeding moved forward.

American Optical Co Expects Its Best Year

American Optical Co cutting edge projections, says vice president Walter Dreves, with earnings between 3.40 and 3.58 a share for the year and sales near 78 million to 9 million. The firm plans capital spending around 2.5 million for machinery and equipment upgrades.
