Trinity Methodist Dedication Sunday Concert at Hood College

Hair Dressers Hold Monthly Frederick Meeting

The Frederick Hairdressers Association met at the Hotel Frederick with President Mrs. Jene Laniz presiding. Members approved a $10 Community Chest contribution and appointed Qwen Ecker as delegate to the Maryland State Association Convention in Baltimore on November 2, with Mrs. Irene Lantz as alternate. A card party rummage sale plan and a talk by guest speaker James F. Giles on chemistry and permanent waving were announced for upcoming events. Invitations are being sent citywide and to surrounding areas.

A local businessman remained for further treatment at Washington Sanitarium after a hip fracture from months ago. Frederick Memorial Hospital admitted Thomas B M Guyton. Fifth Flower Show School Concludes With 30 Exams

The Fifth District Federated Garden Clubs of Mare land held the final flower show school at the Peter Pan Inn Urbana. About 30 women took the examination with registration reaching around 130 on Tuesday. Examinations were held Wednesday and some participants pursued postgraduate exams. Mrs T Stuart Haller served as general chairman.
