Gas Attendant Bound, Robbed by Two Gunless Men
Hassan O. Stewart, a 18 year old gas station attendant at 310 East Patrick street, was gagged and bound by two gunless robbers who looted $55 from the D D Shell station. A third party, Bud Hagan and an Ohio motorist, freed him after a 15 minute struggle as the robbers fled in a 1936 Plymouth with Pennsylvania plates. Stewart identified the vehicle. police found telephone wires cut and await further clues on the tall and slender suspect and the heavier set associate.

Another Star Route Added To Mail Service
